Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine met on Wednesday in Saint Petersburg Zainidin Kurmanov, the Speaker of Zhogorku Kenesh of Kyrgyz Republic.
The Meeting was held in the framework of the Interparliamentary Assembly of CIS member-countries.
In the course of the discussion the Parties discussed the perspectives of the development of the bilateral relations in different spheres and industries.
As it was declared in the course of the meeting Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan have a lot in common from the point of view of transit situation of their economics, solving problems and reforming the economics and the nation formation.
V. Lytvyn emphasised that Ukraine is satisfied with the exiting level of cooperation though there are a lot of perspectives for the further strengthening of relations development. First of all it concerns trade-economic sphere, energy sphere, mineral resources and innovational technologies.
Z. Kurmanov upheld such an approach and declared that Kyrgyz Republic possesses all the opportunities to become for CIS countries "point to penetrate into the China market."
Moreover, he emphasised the role of Ukraine as the leader on post soviet field. "Development of post-soviet space without Ukraine is impossible", Z. Kurmanov stated.
The Parties also discussed the issues on strengthening of the cooperation on interparliamentary level. V. Lytvyn emphasised on the necessity of continuance of the systemic dialogue between the Parliaments of our states.
As it was briefed before, Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stays Russian Federation on 6-8 April (Saint Petersburg City) and takes part in 34th Plenary Meeting of Interparliamentary Assembly of CIS Countries-Participants.
Ukrainian delegation consists of the People´s Deputies of Ukraine: S. Hrynevetskii (Lytvyn Bloc faction), K. Samoilyk, "CPU faction", O. Lohvynenko (YTB faction).
